A German consultant who has a track record of finding several FW-1 vulnerbilities has reported a major flaw in the CheckPoint FW-1 system, giving a remote hacker, Administrator privilages of the firewall rule-set. CheckPoint is not willing to confirm at this time, but says that it is possible.

This is a Canadian article on the issue, that will be presented in detail at BlackHat Breifings in Vegas.
