In last issue, 'Pissed Off' submitted a response to the 'Texas Rankings' article as follows:
Bush Spam
by Pissed Off 2000.11.07
So I get some spam mail...
subj: "Four Score But NOT Gore Because" and
body:
"The genius of small government is the wisdom of few temptations." Hmm? Where should I start? First, the subject statement doesn't even make any sense. Second, regarding the body, isn't it Bush that succumbed to the 'temptations' of drugs, alcohol for not so brief periods of his life? And here's the kicker...when I try to unsubscribe from this list I was obviously
put on without consent, I get an error message back. Isn't that illegal? I
was going to vote for Nader, but now I've changed my mind. I'm going to
vote
a few times.
We began repeatedly receiving the same spam. Many have asked me for the
best way to deal with this issue. I usually check the message, header
info
and even check to see who owns the originating IP and send something like
the following message to every contact listed for those entities I can
find,
including just trying bogus ones like webmaster and admin (etc...) at all
related IP addresses and domains:
