Collusion Meet-N-Shoot with Bubba and Friends

Come one, come few! Keep it to responsible, at least half-intelligent people, and let's not drag complete strangers. Shooting starts whenever we finish the berm, which will depend largely on how many people show up Friday night to sleep. It will be hard work in the AM, bring gloves and shovels. The bobcat application is in, I really hope they don't dislike me and say no. Be here around noon at the latest. It gets fucking hot around 3-4PM. You might consider wearing long pants, and a shirt you don't mind getting a little dirty. I might go for another money shot of black goo (right Dr. No?), or a gun might send the same your way. Wear socks/shoes for sure. Bring earplugs, Home Deopt or any hardware store sells foam plugs that will do nicely. Most of what we will be shooting are suppressed weapons, so they won't be neccessary for everyone all the time. I'm not sharing plugs, that's gross.

Bring Lawn Chairs.

Ammunition is NOT free, in quantity. I don't mind giving a little away, but a lot would kill me. I manuf. ammo privately for me, and will be happy to sell it at cost to you for shooting. I keep all brass, duh. I have 9mm and .22lr in quantity available. Bring hardball ammo, no hollow points or soft tip crap unless it's just .22lr. If you have specific ammunition questions, please e-mail me.

Range Rules (Sorry, but for those who don't know about guns, we have to have rules)

Hearing protection is required when shooting non suppressed weapons.

Eye protection reccomended, but they're your eyes.

Injuries happen. Be current on your medical info. I'm not kidding. I saw a guy shoot his hand with an M11 once. Ugly sight.

ONE SHOOTER AT A TIME, UNLESS I SAY OTHERWISE. I can see us having some crossfire, this can be bad. We want to be safe, and not kill my goats or the neighbors cows. I might arrange for a few "Matrix" two fisted fun spots, depends on shooters.

Shoot only at targets. We need to bring target frames, which are 2x4's and scrap plywood. Bring 'em if you got 'em. Paper plates make excellent targets, someone should buy a pack of 200 or so.

No off-line hot weapons. For those that need an analogy, consider the batting box at home plate in baseball. If you aren't on the firing line, you don't have a gun in your hands.

No .50BMG. It's not the noise, it's the range distance.

I'm sure I can figure out more ways to be a range nazi later.

If you were unaware The Collusion Group is having a meet&greet on June 15th. Instead of the usual crap we are doing this one a little different. Yes it involves guns, lots of guns. If you don't like guns, you should come on out and try it. It just might change the way you think. If you like guns, your in for a good time. I am sure a few of us will let you get some trigger time with a couple full-autos.

Unlike other meet&greets your parents are welcome to attend. If you are minor (under 18), this is not an option, you must be accompanied by an adult (over 18) by the way this will be a perfect opportunity to totally freak them out.

Feel free to bring guns, cameras, video equipment, lunch, coolers full of water, soda, milk, just NO ALCOHOL or other intoxicants. Other than that we ask that you to be respectful, we are going to be guest at a private residence. Unlike other CG events, we request you make a small donation to help defer the cost of the tractor rental. The tractor is what makes this posible.
