Lesbians and Gays - 30

Conservative Christians have been bombarding NIKE with E-mails in support of
Reggie White. By contrast lesbians and gay men have only sent 30 e-mails in
protest.

Reggie White, a spokesman for Nike, is receiving support from Conservative
Christian's for his discriminatory language against lesbians and gay men from
his March 25th speech to the Wisconsin Legislature and subsequent dialog on
ABC-TV "20/20".

Nike has received many more e-mails of support for Reggie, than protests from
person's supportive of lesbian and gay Civil Rights.

I am a frequent consumer of NIKE products and I prefer your sportswear to all 
others.  However, I will no longer contribute any money to a company who 
endorses bigoted and homophobic sports figures such as Reggie White.  Many 
people of all ages, races, ethnicities, genders, and sexual orientations were 
offended by these malicious and ridiculous statements.  Please save yourself 
from affiliation with those who violate the civil rights of others and insult 
individuals and families based on sexual orientation.
