Private Sector Scam Revisited

Those oscilloscope readings came from the New Jersey Bell investigation of the Private Sector 2600 bulletin board system back in 1985.

They are meant to prove that our system operator intended to defraud the phone company by using his computer to imitate the sound of coins dropping into a payphone.  They don't explain how he would have dragged his non-portable computer outside to a payphone to accomplish this.  But they do say lots of other intriguing things and we've reproduced one of the letters from these technological geniuses for your enjoyment.
