Modification to restore cellular frequencies in the Radio Shack PRO-2030 
    Scanner.
    
    This mod is essentially the same as the PRO2026 except the location of the 
    jumper is slightly different.
    
    1.   Remove power cable.
    2.   Turn unit upside down.
    3.   Remove five (5) recessed screws from bottom panel.
    4.   Carefully remove bottom panel.
    5.   With display panel facing you, locate the jumper marked L201 on the 
         circuit board attached to the display.  It will be about
         2" in from the from and 2" in from the right side.  It will look 
         like a RF coil.
    6.   Cut the jumper marked L201.
    7.   Reinstall the bottom and reconnect power. Scanner is ready for use.
    8.   Cellular frequencies are now restored with 30 Khz channel spacing.
    
    Please note:  I picked up this mod from the FIDO net.  I have never 
    completed the mod myself because I own the 2006.  But I do have the 
    service manual and this is the diode that locks out the cellular band.  
    Even the specs show this diode connected to pin 10 of the microprocessor.  
    This pin is the STRAP OPTION CELLULAR SKIP.  Too easy!
