FEDS LOCK UP 'AGENT STEAL' High-profile hacker Justin Petersen has come down a couple notches. As punishment for skipping his probation, a US District Court judge sentenced the flamboyant computer criminal, known for his flashy lifestyle, to five months in a federal prison. Before his probation, Petersen had spent 41 months in jail for a variety of computer-related crimes including credit card fraud. His supervised release was granted on the condition that he stay away from computers when not at work, and his original sentence had been delayed while he worked with the FBI to spy on other hackers. Petersen, a.k.a. "Agent Steal," boasts that he helped ensnare Kevin Mitnick, the only hacker to make the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list.
