The Amiga Page
The Amiga was the first affordable multimedia and multitasking computer. Originally designed by Commodore in 1985, this computer set a new standard for home computers, and became very popular because of its fast graphics and clear sound.
Demo and game coders loved it, and developed a lot of routines still used today.

I believe the architecture of the Amiga is the best, fastest and most flexible architecture ever developed for a home or personal computer.
The Amiga name has recenlty been bought by Gateway 2000. This company has planned a new range of Amiga computers, which will revolutionize the PC world once again. The first model was due to be released in November 1998, but obviously they didn't make the deadline. This shows that the developers place quality above all, and they won't release an unfinished product. Who else can say that nowadays?
In 1999, a new AmigaOS and WorkBench will be released, as well as some more models. One of these is planned to retail at about $500. Is that a bargain or what?
