Reminiscense
This is the first song I ever wrote. It's also the first song I ever recorded on my multitrack recorder. Every track is recorded in a single take. I wrote the first 16 bars of the guitar solo. The rest was strictly ad lib. The song may not be completely flawless (if you listen closely, you can hear me fighting a slipping 3rd string), but we like it the way it is, pure and with real emotion. We're afraid that we'll lose that if we try to polish up those tiny errors.
This song has a funky rhythm guitar in the background. On top of that, there is a string ensemble combined with a piano. After a while, the lead guitar kicks in and takes the song to a higher level. After the 'solo', everything builds down to the end.
