I have made several bug fixes to the Word Editor and made some cosmetic changes,
but the bigest improvement is for the Help File Gen Procedure, now you can
add, change, and delete text in the HCW coded RTF file displayed in RTF format.

Before if you wanted to make any changes, spelling, add, etc. after you have
compiled your help file you had to either make the changes in plain text mode
or open the file prior to any help file code insertion, make the changes and
then go through the complete Help File Gen procedure again, adding the Jumps,
Topics, etc., that wasn't good.

There is only one exception, if you need to make a change to a field name that
is wrapped in HCW code e.g. Jumps, Topics, Boxes, etc., then you will have to
first remove the code, using the Help Gen update procedure, close the Help Gen
session and then make the changes or you could make the name changes in plain
text mode. Which ever method you use make sure that if you made changes to a
Jump or Topic you will have to make the same changes to the corresponding
Jump or Topic.

N O T E !! The above procedure will only work if the RTF and the HCW coded RTF
           file was created using WordEdit.

Maybe someday Microsoft will have more RTF roundtripping!
(RTF text that is read in from a file will be written back out intact).

Then I won't have to worry about the above procedure.

In the WordEdit\Help\BU directory there are four files
(Sample1_org.rtf, Sample2_org.rtf, Sample2_org.rtf, and WordEdit_org.rtf)
they are the original RTF help files before any HCW codes.

Before you read any instructions copy the Sample1_org.rtf file to another
directory and rename it by removing the (_org) launch WordEdit then open
the Sample1.rtf file.

1. Open the Complete Help File Generate Dialog from the Help Gen Menu.

2. Select the (Sample1 Help File heading), you might have to move the Dialog
down first or HIDE the Dialog and then Click on the Process Button
for Create or Change Footnotes from Topics or Topic on the Toolbar this
will open the Create Footnotes from Topics Dialog. Enter the word Contents
in the Topic ID field, press Update and then close the Complete Help File
Generate Dialog and Toolbar or Toggle the Toolbar (If you Toggle the Toolbar
you can skip step 3 below).

3. Open the Semi-Auto Jumps and Topics Dialog from the Help Gen Menu. you can HIDE
    the Dialog.

4. Click on Do Primary Jumps or Jump on the Toolbar.

5. Left Mouse Click to the Right of all of the GREEN text.

or Toggle the Toolbar (If you Toggle the Toolbar you can skip step 9 below).

10. Press the Proceed Button for Create the .hpj file this will open
the Create the help project file (.hpj) Dialog. Fill in the Title and
Your Name fileds and then press Create. You should receive a message
stating that your hpj file was created sucessfully.

11. NOTE You MUST have Microsoft's Help Workshop to continue.
If you have it use the Browse Button to get the Path.
If you don't have it and can't find it I could send it to you.

12. Press the Open Button for Open your .hpj file with (hcw.exe).

14. Press the Save and Compile Button in the lower right of the
Microsoft Help Workshop window. You should have no errors or warnings.
Open your new Help File(It will be in the same directory as the Sample1.rtf
    file).

Read the instructions for Help File Generate in the Help File for WordEdit.

Copy the Sample2_org.rtf file to another directory and rename it by
removing the (_org) launch WordEdit then open the Sample2.rtf file.

you will see that each Jump and Topic has instructions, open the appropiate
Dialog from the Help Gen Menu and create the Jumps, Footnotes, and the .hpj
file and then do a compile, Just to get the feel of it.

NOTE! Sample2.rtf and Sample3.rtf are the same except Sample3.rtf doesn't have
the instructions.

N O T E ! To assemble WordEdit you will need to place the WordEdit.inc in the INCLUDE directory.
Plus change the path pointers in the .asm(s), .rc, .mak, and bat files.
In the .rc file it's the first line.
