Excellent as ever. I have email-only net access, so I can't post this to USENET as I can't seem to use any Gophers (the header info on my email system confuses them), but I really want to get across my 2 cents. It's to you really anyway... Here in UK we had 'Secret History' on Channel 4, with bits of Santilli's film and analysis. I came to the same conclusion as you: that it was made by the SGE. Analysis on the C4 film came from 2 sources: A Hollywood Special Effects Director who reckoned it could not have been made before the mid-sixties and would have cost in the vicinity of .5 million dollars; and a Scotland Yard Forensic Scientist, who thought many things were suspicious but could not detect any obvious indications it was a hoax. This implies the hoaxers had buckets of cash and expert advice on how to perform autopsies. And it was filmed on authentic 1947 vintage Air Force filmroll. Any private individual preparing a hoax this good, this expensive, would have to be awfully patient to be prepared to wait 30 years to see it fool the public. The USAF or SGE would be capable of this; and they also have motive. For with the alien film they have TAKEN OVER THE ORIGINAL STORY. That is, IMHO, the crucial and most damning point here. The original story has compelling evidence from reliable witnesses about wreckage in a field near Roswell. The alien autopsy film needs a second ship a few miles away, and the witnesses are alot less convincing. I believe the Santilli film is an attempt to finish off speculation over Roswel by killing the story.'They'(USAF/SGE, whoever has been feeding this) simply now have to provide evidence that Santilli was fooled, and the story is dead. And with it will die Jesse Marcel's story, and all those other eerily convincing Roswell witness testaments. By discrediting their invented part of the story, the agency concerned discredits the original story too. Simple. Your theory that somewhere there is an agent, part of the SGE, who keeps a careful eye on, yet is only loosely a member of, the UFO community and has ties with the official agencies, is interesting. Of all the UFO-watchers I'm aware of, there is one player that fits the bill better than anyone else: You. (Tee hee). Keep up the good work, Eliot Flack.
