Mistrusting Telus

On May 8, when I read in The Journal that Telus CEO George Petty said that
moving the head office to Burnaby was more a prestige move than anything
else, this made me very angry. What is wrong with Edmonton?

When Ed Tel became Telus we were told it would remain in Edmonton. At the
same time, Petty said there would be no jobs lost. But by May 12 he was
telling us there will be 300 to 400 jobs eliminated and more to come. How
can we believe anything Petty says?
