Are you worried about the Microsoft Global Unique Identifier? You know,

documents and is transmitted to Redmond whenever you visit the Microsoft
web site or register a product? Well Vector Development claims to have
the solution, Guideon. Guideon claims to replace the GUID string with
zeros or an optional string you choose.

absurd "I took the initiative in creating the Internet." It is to bad

This has been reported elsewhere but it is worth mentioning. Kipling, the
maker of backpacks and outdoor gear has introduced hacker luggage. The
site has a stereotypical profile of a 'Hacker' with things such as
education level, appearance, communication style, what type of food we
eat, etc... They define 'Hacker' as "a malicious computer expert who
breaks the security of computer systems..." Hrrrmmmm I know I won't be
buying any of this stuff.
