Looks like the EU is taking tips from George Orwell. The European Union is
almost ready to approve legislation that would allow the police to listen
in to all private conversations whether they be by phone, internet or
satellite phone. All of this to supposedly fight terrorism and
orginized

contributed by Space Rogue
The government has responded to the Mitnick Defense teams motion in a
document entitled "Government's Consolidated Opposition to Defendant
Mitnick's Motion". This is in regards to the allegation that the
government new that Ron Austin, an FBI Informant, wor
ked for Mitnick's lawyer.
(Ed. Note. Regardless of Mitnick's guilt or innocence, the fact that he has been in jail for over three and half years without a constitutionally guaranteed bail hearing is wrong.)

a
remote door unlocker or car starter? Does it use infrared? The Palm
Pilot can learn that code which can then be used by people who don't
own the vehicle. (This article blames 3COM the makers of the Palm Pilot. Instead they should be blaming the car
manufacturers for building a crappy system.)(Yes, I know this is old news but this article was too funny to pass up.)
