IBM opensources Secure Mailer
|
|
contributed by Kroma
IBM is releasing to the open source community a product to replace the
popular sendmail. Secure Mailer is supposed to have improved security and
reliability. (Ed Note: Since this is a brand new product how can they say
it has better security? Who has tested it outside of IBM? Until this
product has received some sort of peer review I would really hesitate in
calling it secure.)

contributed by Space Rogue
Another article that details a recent War Room report that claims that 30
percent of 320 Fortune 500 companies have installed software capable of
launching counterattacks to security breaches. (Ed Note: First I have to
question the legality of counterattacking, How do you know who is
attacking you? Second if anyone knows what software these companies have
installed please let me know as I have never heard of it.)
