The program was designed to aid in the documentation of forensic examinations
of computer storage media. Prior versions of this program have been used with
great success by a majority of the law enforcement and military forensic
specialists in the United States and Canada. The files created by the program
merge into WordPerfect, Microsoft Word or other word processors automatically.

Please note that the program creates documentation files in the path from
where the program is operated. In this way it is all but impossible to
overwrite unallocated file space on a seized computer. Also please note that
the program records file creation dates down to the hundredth of a second. In
some cases, it is important to know which files were created first and the DOS
DIR command normally limits file creation date output to seconds. The program
will automatically name and create files. All you have to do is make sure the
program is running in the path. Then use the command NTIDOC rather than Dir.

The following was created automatically by the program:

When a 'snap shot' of a directory is desired, simply execute the program.
The print ready output will be automatically stored in the directory where
the NTIDOC program resides. Please direct questions or problems to NTI.
