The Jews at the ACLU say that Frank Collin, and his Nazis, deserve to march, even if other Jews find it offensive. The Skokie Jews are traumatized and are having Holocaust nightmares.

Danny Kaye's character wants Nazi blood.. He describes an incident in the concentration camp where his mouth was stuffed with rags so he could not cry out. He refuses to be silent now and shouts the famous words ~ "Never again"

Children are told about missing relatives

Jews never told their children about the camps and the gassing. When the 'Fuehrer', Frank Collin,  shows up they have no choice. 

Many children of Holocaust survivors didn't even know their parents were in the camps -- yet they wondered why they had no aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc.

The movie covers the legal side of the controversy, with public meetings in the synagogue, private meetings in the Mayor's office, and good Jews crying in the parks. There are plenty of courtroom scenes as various Jews testify as to what happened in the camps.

Jews defeat the Nazis

Nazis back off marching in Skokie, and instead march in a Chicago Park. A group of 60 yr old Jews show up, and beat the hell out of the Nazis.

The real story is a Hebrew named Joseph Cohen, aka Commandant Frank Collins, is the one who leads the American Nazi Party, and marches all over Illinois. The Jewish press has him in the headlines for 15 months. Later he was arrested for being a pedophile, but none of this came out.
