About 35 years back, I got involved in the technical analysis of a little goodie found embedded in the copy of the U.S. Great Seal that hung over the U.S. Ambassador's desk in the U.S. Embassy --- in Moscow. Without going into a lot of detail, most of which I don't even remember at this point ( you can look it up; it's been published far and wide over the years ) it was completely passive; just a capacitive chamber with an acoustically-sensitive membrane, and a stub antenna, designed for resonance at a specific RF frequency. Since it emitted nothing, it was theoretically not findable using standard detection gear.... unless, of course, it was active at the time of the test. ( Since bug sweeps weren't done during meetings, the KGB figured this was not an issue. ) ( This was not actually the case, but we won't get into that. ) The crew using it simply used a microwave dish across the street to beam a carrier signal at it, and then caught the reflected signal, recording the sound-modulated reflected signal. ( The KGB got such good results... they thought... with this approach that they escalated, having discovered that with sufficient power, you could get modulated reflections off *lots* of things. The personnel and staff of the U.S. Embassy of that period were subjected to so much microwave radiation over their assignment that health problems became overt.. but I'm digressing. ) Now, given the milieu and background of "THE LONE GUNMEN," it seems completely obvious that "E-COM-CON" is owned and operated by the Illuminati, who we already know are soaking the entire planet in their Super Secret Mind Control Rays. It's only sensible to etch an SUHF zig-zag antenna right onto the Octium chip, and get information out using "passive transmission," modulations of the reflected fundamental signal the Illuminati are bathing every square inch of the planet with. This completely eliminates dependence on archaic technology like cellular phone systems. I mean, it's *PERFECTLY* obvious.
