Dear Ms. Shea:

This letter is in response to your inquiry to the Department of Defense (DoD) Radiation Experiments Command Center (RECC) in regard to your ongoing treatment at St. Vincents Hospital in San Franscico, California.

The research on your inquiry is complete. Unfortunately, your inquiry does not fall under the purview of the RECC, which is limited to human ionizing radiation experiments that were sponsored or conducted by the DoD. Your concerns, however, appear to involve magnetic radiation and microwaves. In conducting our research, we compared the information you provided with human ionizing radiation research that was conducted by other departments of the United States Government to see if a transfer of action might be in order. However, we were unable to identify another department or agency which would have purview over the test or experiment you described. Therefore, the RECC has no alternative but to place your case in an inactive status. In this regard, we will maintain your record and review it periodically against new information to see if your inquiry should be reactivated.

In spite of our findings, we extend, on behalf of the Secretary of Defense, our sincere appreciation for your efforts in assisting us in this matter.
