Disclaimer: These people and the outrageous views they espouse are obviously misguided, and quite possibly dangerous and are NOT espoused by ***** Internet Access. However, here at *****, though we wish fascism could be eliminated today, we firmly believe that forcing violent fascist movements underground only makes it that much harder to monitor their activities. Time and time again efforts such as those have backfired upon the very groups that they were intended to protect. Knowing what fascist movements are happening at the very least lets us work towards educating people about them. In the end, censoring or otherwise silencing hate groups would only provide opportunities for these movements to grow unchecked. We feel that the reaction of some people to try to censor these groups is a misguided notion, since the hate groups still feel the same way and are simply forced to exhibit their hatred in other, possibly more violent ways. We feel, as does the ACLU, that these groups have as much right as any other to speak their mind - as vile and despicable as that may be. However part of our mission is to counter their message by giving low cost or free space to anti-fascist groups In essence, we believe that the line should be drawn between words and action. Obviously, any person who commits an act of physical violence against another deserves some form of punishment. However- only through open discussion of the issues, and carefully thought out lessons taught to our young people over the course of generations will we be able to stamp out racism.
