An updated message from MTC Online Forums Founder 12/15/01:
Greetings,
I am Carrie Dawn, the founder of MTC Online Forums who currently sponsors
the Mind Control Forum. As you can see by the old messages below, Ed Light
retired a few years back and handed over the management of the MCF to MTC
Online Forums. For 3 years I have diligently attempted to keep the MCF up on
the net. The first year we sponsored the MCF people tried to take her down
for bogus copyright complaints. We were down for a couple of weeks that
time. Then again other attempts have been made to bring us down based on
where we hosted the site. A year ago I put MCF onto her own domain at
www.mindcontrolforum.com and I was thrilled to know that she would have a
home of her own separate from MTC's own web sites. This past year on a
personal level I had to deal with an ex-husband who was attempting to
reaccess & control me. In May of this year he succeeded in doing exactly
this. He is angry and vindictive that I personally was responsible for
putting him in prison for molesting our son. Since then my family has done
all it can to try and kidnap or gain custody of myself. I know there are
survivors reading this who will understand what experiences like this can
mean.
During the summer because of the damage my ex had caused & personal circumstances I trusted a fellow survivor I had known with helping to pay for the hosting packages for our web sites. But as soon as I left her home, she took control of the hosting services and deleted the MCF off the face of the internet. MTC's own web site followed a month later. Meanwhile our hosting company changed policies and wouldn't let us pre-pay our hosting packages in advanced. They wanted a credit card which I no longer owned. At this time I had to sell my computer (because my car had been demolished after hitting a deer) because I no longer had a way to transport my personal belongings anywhere (everything I owned was in my car) and all of the copies of MCF and MTC's web sites were on my computer. I have zip discs of the MCF which are older but certainly more current than the copy Ed could provide Heart. Due to the ongoing attempts by my family & other very well known individuals to take me down as well as the work I do, I decided I needed to change my role with MTC and begin focusing on my own recovery & safety. I pulled from with in our own resources and many devoted survivors who have been apart of MTC for many years came forward to help. Heart is one of these individual's who has long since shown her devotion to survivors and making sure information is made available to survivors. I asked Heart to manage the MCF on behalf of MTC because she has a heart of gold. She also has the time & knowledge to maintain this complex & huge site with more than 500 pages! So, today, Heart is now the Web Manager for the MCF on behalf of MTC. MTC will continue to sponor the site. Any donations or earnings from book sales will go to pay for the hosting & ongoing care of maintaining MCF.

to be put back up please contact Heart and she will put your story back up
as quickly as possible. MTC's web site is now back up at

On behalf of MTC, as MTC's founder, I would like to thank Ed Light for the privilege of being granted to provide the server for the MCF site. This move is to help prevent the permanent shut down of this incredible resource. Our organization's web site will remain totally separate from the MCF site. The look, content, and most of the features will be transferred to our server as soon as we can get a copy of MCF up and running with out glitches or non working links. We are updating as we go.
I understand the concern of many of those who have their stories on MCF. We will not be altering your content in anyway unless you give us expressed written permission to do so. Our intent isn't to make the MCF site part of our organization. But, rather, to keep it up on the net. Our server has unlimited capacity for storage and maintaining the site. We also have survivors who wish to help us keep this site up, and who can help us with adding content as each of you sends us updates or additions.
My respect for Ed's work is unlimited. I was heart sick when I heard that MCF might be taken down. This is why we offered to host it on our site for free.
Please have patience as we make this transition. Ed's work is extensive on the MCF site and there is allot of web work to be done to get this site up properly.

Update on status of the transfer of the MCF web site to MTC's server:
MTC has experienced severe technical problems due to a Trojan Horse that was found on our systems and servers. This has slowed down the completion of the MCF web site on our server. When you contact us via e-mail please understand that we do not currently manage the MCF web site on the old server. Ed Light has continued to update MCF on the old site. We are building MCF on our servers from scratch, in order to make eventual updating of the site easier. Since, the MCF web site is so large and cross linked, we have to manually check/verify every single link that Ed has networked on his site. This takes a great deal of time. Everyone's patience during this endeavor is greatly appreciated. We were heavily set back by dealing with an infection caused by a Trojan Horse. This means that our having the new location of MCF ready will be delayed some.
