ALL THE WAY WITH THE USA

Southern Cross Old Glory My father, who was a veteran of World War II, told us when we were children that if it wasn't for the Americans we would all be speaking Japanese now.

Now almost sixty years later if it wasn't for our ANZUS treaty with the Americans we could all very well be speaking Indonesian.

There is no doubt in my mind that it is our friendship and loyalty to the American people that keeps our country free today. Our government continues to suck up and pander to our northern neighbors in an attempt to keep them from inflicting terror on us, but for all that sucking it is the United States that keeps those terrorists from giving us the same treatment they give all non Muslim countries including East Timor.

All I can say to those people who criticize the United States government is

"PICK A SIDE"

China? Russia? Indonesia? Malaysia? Japan?

Not even England has the ability to come to our aid. They are with the Americans for the same reason. Together we are capable of surviving the threat of our enemies but divided we will all fall one by one.

We are incapable of defending ourselves against an invasion from almost any other military power in the world. Our military might is not needed by the United States or any other country, however they do require that we support them with a show of loyalty. When we have entered into a treaty with a nation powerful enough to keep the bullies from our door it is, at the very least, essential that we stand shoulder to shoulder with them to show our support when asked for it.

To say that this is not our war is ludicrous. If the United States is at war then so are we. If our allies ask for our show of support then it is the very least we can do because if we ever need them you can be sure that they would be giving us far more than support, they would be saving our lives.

WAKE UP AUSTRALIANS AND RECOGNISE YOUR REAL FRIENDS

Whether George Bush is right or wrong, the Americans are our allies, our friends, the people who saved our country and because of their friendship have given us decades of peace while we live helplessly in the shadow of ruthless nations who could swallow us whole. Our alliance with the United States is all we have between us and the kind of terror suffered by our East Timorise friends and those who whimper like cowards should be ashamed of themselves. No one wants war but to slander our great ANZAC spirit is unforgivable.

Those waiting around for the United Nations to sanction action on Iraq must be blissfully unaware of the millions of people who died waiting for the UN to save their lives. UN soldiers were ordered to stand by and watch hundreds of thousands of people being hacked up with machetes, women and children raped and tortured before being killed, hundreds of thousands taken away in truckloads to be shot and thousands more gassed and murdered in areas of conflict all over the world. Because of their inadequate ability to deal with the worlds problems we could all be dead and buried before the UN gave the go ahead to act.

I would just like to assure all of my American friends and our troops in Iraq that the anti-war sentiments you might hear about are not coming from the circles that I mix with. In fact it is only sections of the media and those university brainwashed yuppies who seem to be wimping out.

It's nothing new to hear these bleeding hearts, who obviously have learnt nothing by our history. They bleat about the futility of war. We all know how futile it would be if our lives were to be turned upside down by people who, instructed by their Koran, are hell bent on violently seeing their religion rule the world.

John Laws, a well known radio talk-back host in Australia had an interview on his program on the 5th Feb 2003 some of which I taped from his Friday summery and it is as follows:-

John

Mansurie Jadz is a former mediator in talks between Sudanese officials and the Clinton administration concerning Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda and we've got him on the line. Are you resigned to the fact that US will take military action against Iraq?

Mansurie

I don't think there's really much choice because the only other option at the moment is for Sadam to capitulate on his own and I think, knowing the mentality of that man, that would be probably the least likely scenario that we could count on.

John

Knowing the mentality of the man how would you describe it?

Mansurie

His entire ethos has always been to be the great Arab nationalist leader and since he has the second largest oil reserves of any country in the world he wants to be able to use that weight to exercise whatever he believes an Arab nationalist's vision is.

John

So Sadam Hussein could be described as a typical megalomaniac?

Mansurie

Yes, I think he is what I call 'Hitler like' and if he kills a hundred thousand here or there every so often that's not a problem for him.

John

You've told me that you think that the US has very little choice but to go ahead in some action against Iraq are you in favor of that?

Mansurie

Now we have a fundamental shift after Sept 11 because the people who want to destroy civilization as we know it have now proven that they're capable of harming in a significant way and at the same time these are not people with whom you can negotiate with anymore because the virus has spread into too many individual cells around the world and that is in fact the way that he would have preferred it. Even if he dies tomorrow it would still serve the purpose of spreading his cause around the world by infecting so many localized cells wherever they are.

John

When you refer to the wanting to destroy civilization, as we know it what's the motive?

Mansurie

It's very simple, I say this as a Muslim who has practiced Islam fairly diligently throughout my life. In the Koran the way in which Muslims are taught to believe it is that Islam will be the final religion of all people on the day of judgement and essentially what people like Bin Laden want to do is to speed up the time frame for the day of reckoning, so to speak.

John

Do you believe that there are links between Sadam Hussein and Al Qaeda?

Mansurie

There is no question in my mind that those links exist by giving them the recipes to make chemical and biological weapons.

John

Does that make a strike against Iraq even more acceptable?

Mansurie

It makes it more imperative. Do we want to wait until they use these weapons of mass destruction against us? Which they will surely do, and I can tell you I've lived with these Al Qaeda terrorist minds and there's no negotiating with these people. They have their own view of the world and it's not a view that any one of us in a civilized society can live with. There's no question that we have to stop them from getting those recipes and I can tell you that the day we are able to go into Baghdad then we will really know the extent and nature of what they were planning all along. The world will thank the West for having taken the action.

John

Has Saddam Hussein made these recipe books, as we'll now call them, available to Al Qaeda for example?

Mansurie

Yes he has.

John

Do you believe that the United States and its allies one of which Australia is are prepared for what could follow any strike against Iraq?

Mansurie

Probably not, but the Australian people have already seen an example of what can happen when you leave this problem unattended because these are people who are hell bent, no matter what happens, on destroying the civilized world the way we know it.

John

So you believe that there will be retaliation?

Mansurie

I do believe that there will be retaliation and I think that that retaliation will in fact come in the form of chemical or biological weapons attack. But the problem is that those attacks would have taken place any way. We've got to go out and be equally aggressive in rooting them out so that they know we know where they hide. We should have done this very early on because the alliance between Al Qaeda and Saddam has really gained root after the bombing campaign in Afganistan was over because we essentially smashed Afghanistan but all the remnants of the virus blew up and they went to the closest places they could get refuge and that place was Iraq. So we have no choice now but to go in and get this out as quickly as we can and we may already be too late. It is also about demonstrating to Kim Chong-il (North Korea) that you could be next and in fact it may be necessary to demonstrate that because I can tell you one thing for sure Kim Chong-il has Coca Cola sized cans of plutonium and uranium that he's willing to sell to terrorist groups including Al Qaeda but the point I'm trying to make to you is that you don't have to be a rocket scientist to see how the picture is going to be painted if you are not able to put these guys out of business right now.

End of interview

In a speech in Iraq on the 5th Feb 2003 Saddam Hussein said he was ready for war and he was going to destroy and defeat the United States. Did he intend using the weapons of mass destruction that he insisted he didn't have? And since they have now not been found do you think that we should have sat back and took the risk?
