[Below is an e-mail received on 9/23/96, after having put off retyping Conjurella longer than I should have - Doc]

Doc: This is T. Casey Brennan [address deleted].
I was sending out photocopies of CONJURELLA regularly before receiving your letter to the effect that you were considering posting it; I stopped the multiple submissions immediately upon receipt of your letter...it would have been in print somehow now, had it not been for you, and there would have been some hope for all the AIDS victims in the world, some minimal clues as to how and where it was created; I'm sure the office in Port Hope, Michigan where David Ferrie and Dr. Earnshaw worked was a significant part of it.

However, I am using the "delay" in your posting of CONJURELLA to e-mail another magazine every day, with the correct identities: Hopeville=Port Hope, MI; Dr. E=J.H. Earnshaw; Kathy Malarkey=Katherine Schlorke, etc. Mrs. Schlorke played a more important role than just seeing Lee with me in front of Swamp School, incidentally.

When my dad and I left for the Yale airport in the pre-dawn hours, to meet with Dr. Earnshaw and David Ferrie, we did not have my mother (CASTLE MIRAGE author Alice Brennan) with us.

Katherine Schlorke drove my mother to the laundromat later that day. After my dad, David Ferrie and I met Lee in the 2nd Floor hall, we went out a stairway...David Ferrie told my dad he would not be flying back with us, so I don't know who flew us back. Anyway, I tried to run in the stairwell, but David Ferrie got me and injected me again.

They must have carried me through the crowd; an adolescent boy having fallen unconscious would not have been too unusual a sight at that point. Had I gotten out of the building, I THINK I could have darted through the crowd and made my way to someone who would get me to Officer Tippit, who Lee had already told about.

Dr. Earnshaw and David Ferrie doing "something funny to kids". Just think, spook, another message like this goes out EVERY DAY. Anyway, they got me back to Peck High School; I met Dr. E at the Yale airport as in the story.

AFTER school, Jim O'Neil who drove the "bus" )a car used to take kids from the K-8 district to high school), took me from Peck to Yale, where I met my parents...my dad was still there from the flight back from Dallas; our car had been there all afternoon & morning...and my mother had arrived in Yale thanks to Katherine Schlorke. So both my parents were in Yale ready to pick me up, like a normal school day.

Katrherine Schlorke was commited during the Garrison Investigation, I understand.
