Those people arriving were from US Customs, Fed Marshalls, Temple Terrace Police, FCC, Swat Team, possibly CIA as is rumored. They cuffed Doug temporarily, until they determined he was not going to be a threat. A station DJ was arriving to do his show right when the men showed up, and he too was temporarily cuffed. They did not bother Doug's girlfriend. They ordered Doug off the air, and confiscated EVERYTHING with a wire hooked to it. HAM radios, CB radios, CD players, CDs, Tape decks, computers, video players, telephones, answering machines, etc. etc. They even brought in a crane to take down his antenna and 150 foot tower too! He has a nice mobile rig van to do remote broadcasts. They stripped it clean, taking the generator, Marti UHF relay unit, and all audio equipment. They loss is estimated to be in the range of $250K to $500K in equipment alone. They're hauling it all off in a Ryder truck. They're still there emptying the place as of 1pm Florida time. This story should be covered on FOX News tonight. Watch and see. ** ALSO BUSTED ON THIS DAY IN FLORIDA WERE: Loni Kobres of 96.7 FM, Patriot Radio. Loni was busted a year ago, bought a new rig and went back on the air. This time around, they busted him and handed him 14 Federal Indictments carrying penalties of $250K and 2 years in prison. Loni is up a creek big time right now. 87X FM in downtown Tampa was ALSO BUSTED. The officers found "drugs" in the studio, so the operator got busted on drug charges, as well as losing his station. Bad day in Florida or what? ------------------------------------------------- TO THE FIRST CHURCH OF CENSORSHIP (FCC): BITE ME! -------------------------------------------------
