"I'm the president of the United States, and
I'll carry out my responsibilities the way I think
is appropriate."
Barack Hussein Obama

Obama's Bona Fides |
|
7/1/09 |
1. Rep. Alan Grayson asks the Federal Reserve
Inspector General about the trillions and trillions of dollars lent or
spent by the Federal Reserve in the last eight months and where it went.
2. In a
public address
delivered on Al-Aqsa TV by Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal,
the Damascus-based terror boss informed Arab viewers that Barack Hussein
Obama came to power in the United States due to Islamic jihad in the
Middle East.
3.
IsraelNationalNews.com
reports that in the latest in a recent series of
increased American assistance efforts for Arab and Muslim states, Barack
Obama has allocated an additional $150 million to the Hashemite Kingdom
of Jordan. The regimes leading Egypt, the Palestinian Authority, the
United Arab Emirates and even Saudi Arabia have all benefited from
recent American policy shifts.
4. The Obama Doctrine --
cartoon.
5. Obama
squirmed and weaseled his words with the Iranian Mullahs and their
puppet-tyrant, Ahmadinejad, not wanting to be seen as meddling in a
tyrannical theocracy, known throughout the world as beneath-contempt
oppressors of every human right under the sun. No, no, no, it just
wouldn't do to publicly lend support to all those moderate,
freedom-loving throngs of Iranians taking to the streets, risking life
and limb for more liberty. Not until the Iranians killed demonstrators
on camera, the pictures went round the world, and criticism of himself
mounted at home, did Obama put his hands on his hips and use
the words, "appalled" and "outraged."
6. Obama
walked into the Oval Office with a veritable halo over his head.
In the eyes of his backers, he could say or do no wrong because he had
evidently descended directly from heaven to return celestial order to
our fallen world. Oprah declared his tongue to be "dipped in the
unvarnished truth." Newsweek editor Evan Thomas averred that Obama
"stands above the country and above the world as a sort of a God."
7. And it came to pass in the Age of Insanity that the people
of the land called America, having lost their morals, their work
initiative, and their will to defend their liberties, chose as their
Supreme Leader that person known as "The One."
8. A popular Tennessee Congresswoman, Marsha Blackburn (R), has become
the first woman and the first Tennessean to
add her name to the list of
co-sponsors for Representative Bill Posey’s (R-FL) proposed amendment
(HR-1503). |
7/2/09 |
1. "The point is the control from here. We have
never had that in the White House. And we have had some control
but not this control. I mean I'm amazed, I'm amazed at you people
who call for openness and transparency and have controlled..." veteran
White House reporter Helen Thomas said Wednesday.
2. The Washington Times
says dictators and demagogues can rest easy
on Obama's watch. When thousands of Iranians flooded the streets of
Tehran protesting a rigged election and were beaten and shot down by
pro-regime thugs, Obama bided his time before making a series of
noncommittal statements. He seemed to hope it would all just go away. However, when a socialist demagogue was ejected unceremoniously from
Honduras on Sunday by his own government for trying to establish a
presidency for life, Obama instantly sprang to his defense.
3.
From the Communist Party USA
website comes the following statement on the Honduras Crisis.
4. Obama recently expressed his love
for "the Urdu poets," a piece of inspired BS that nobody in their right
minds believed for a second. But then Obama was narrowcasting to
Pakistan, he thought, and Americans weren't supposed to be listening. Yet character is revealed in those little snippets of Obama's mind --
his glorious fantasy life, his everlasting hope that somebody will fall
for another piece of schtick, and his essential fraudulence as a human
being.
5. Jim Geraghty says ever since
Barack Obama declared his candidacy for president, it’s been easy -- and
great fun -- to spotlight when his promises and statements come with
"expiration dates." The list is long: Public financing. Renegotiating
NAFTA. His promise to support a filibuster of any bill that includes
retroactive immunity for telecommunications companies. His inability to
disown Rev. Jeremiah Wright. The release of detainee photos. Denouncing
Turkey for genocide.
6. Ebay founder Pierre Omidyar's
politics have become the subject of blog commentary because the web
auction site over the last week repeatedly scrubbed an offering of an
allegedly genuine copy of Barack Obama's birth certificate -- from
Mombasa, Kenya. |
7/3/09 |
1. Obama's
View -- cartoon.
2. David Limbaugh
writes: All right already. I won't call Obama a Marxist in this column. Instead, I'll point to some signs that indicate that Barack and Karl
might well be soul mates. At least, they have similar attitudes about
capital, labor and profits, er, surplus value.
3. NewsReal blog reminds us is that one
of the lessons history teaches us is that the further a country moves to
the left, the more restrictive its press becomes. In a true Marxist
state, the press is an extension of the government and acts as the
party’s official mouthpiece. Competition, freedom to report accurately,
and dissent are not allowed. Punishments for transgressions are swift
and severe. The most egregious example of this was the former Soviet
Union.
4. Gene Healy, writing
at the Cato Institute, quotes Barack Obama, who said, "I am a firm
believer in the power of the free market." The "irony" surrounding his
public image as a collectivist, Obama insisted, was that "I actually
would like to see a relatively light touch when it comes to the
government."
5. John Hinderaker says
that Obama's "stimulus" plan mainly stimulated Democratic constituencies
with great gobs of pork. The web site,
Innocent Bystanders, has done a service by plotting the actual
unemployment rate against the Obama's prediction of what would happen
with and without the "stimulus." Here is the latest, updated through
June.
6. Paul Williams says Barack Obama's rigged
census will determine which states gain seats in Congress and which ones
lose them.
7. Here's something you
won't hear about from the Obamedia -- the solar panels that Barack Obama
and Joe Biden inspected before signing the Generational Theft Act in
Denver, Colorado, will take 110 years to pay for themselves. |
7/4/09 |
1.
Gerald Warner
says Obama’s foreign policy blundering is now verging on
the surreal. When Manuel Zelaya, the socialist president of Honduras,
was overthrown, Obama first declared himself "deeply concerned," then
denounced the coup as illegal; now, with the support of the Obama White
House, the Organization of American States has given Honduras a
three-day deadline to reinstate Zelaya. This is madness.
2. Obama
says his first trip to Sub-Saharan Africa won't include a stop in
his father's Kenyan homeland because of his view that the
violence-plagued country still has a long way to go in becoming a free
and open democracy.
3. It turns out
that the woman at a White House-sponsored healthcare forum who pulled
the heartstrings of the media by asking Obama for help in treating her
cancer -- as if she were channeling the afflicted who, in the New
Testament, besought Jesus of Nazareth for a healing touch -- was
an
Obama plant.
4. Barack
Obama’s admonishments of the American people concerning how it is
necessary for them to change their lifestyles, give away more of their
money, downsize their living quarters and trade their SUVs for
battery-charged golf carts, there is one person who has no intention of
doing any of these things, and that is Barack Obama. |
7/5/09 |
1. I'm Obama'd
out -- I'll be
back tomorrow. |
7/6/09 |
1. HotAir blog reports that after listening to the Democrats screech for the last two
years about the rule of law, this Jake Tapper
report should be surprising …. but it’s not. Apparently, Barack Obama
finds treaty ratification a little too complicated, and so he figures he
can just commit the US to nuclear disarmament and bypass Congressional
oversight.
2.
Jennifer Rubin
says that those who suspect the president is engaged in a bit of
dangerous self-delusion and denial about certain unpleasant realities
regarding the threats from rogue states won’t be heartened to read that
his current non-proliferation fetish stems, at least according to the
New York Times, from his college infatuation with the nuclear freeze
movement.
3. I
don’t think I’ve ever seen my country so divided and depressed on the
Fourth of July in my lifetime and -- no matter what Bob Dylan dreamed up
-- I’m not young, forever or otherwise. That includes the Vietnam War
period when both sides at least had some conviction and excitement for
the future, even if wrong. Not so now. The current situation is grim.
4. America
may be in the midst of a deep recession, and the nation may be facing
unprecedented deficit spending and debt, but the White House will not
reveal the cost to taxpayers of the European vacation that first lady
Michelle Obama and her two daughters, Malia and Sasha, took last month. |
7/7/09 |
1. Anthem
2. In his remarks to the
National Committee of the Communist Party USA (CVPUSA), Sam Webb, the
CPUSA's National Chair, said the following:
3. Rosslyn
Smith writes -- That brief statement of Barack Obama's last month seems
every bit as risible as Richard Nixon's "I am not a crook", after one
reads the article on the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Obama
wrote for the student newspaper his senior year at Columbia. The New
York Times rediscovered the student article on Independence Day and
seems to want to spin it as a sign of the president's deep nature.
4. The hospital in
Hawaii where Barack Obama claims he was born refuses to produce any
documentation -- or even confirm the claim -- without permission of
Obama himself.
5. Jumping in Pools blog
says that most liberals believe that national security is a threat to
freedom, when in reality national security, is the first & last
defense for freedom for the United States, and in most cases the
entire world. The national security of America is above and beyond
almost every other nation on earth. |
7/8/09 |
1. Barack Obama is
now hiding his short form Certification of Live Birth. It appears
that Obama has taken down his "Fight the Smears" website.
2. Presidential Approval Index
3. Obama refuses
to admit the U. S. won the Cold War.
4. Obama says he met
his wife in class.
5. The Pittsburgh
Tribune-Review
reports that Obama's Orwellian rhetoric has become absolutely
pathological. And it's become so blatant that you can almost guarantee
that the truth is the exact opposite of what he says.
6. Obama's
economic recovery package will actually hurt the economy more in the
long run than if he were to do nothing, the nonpartisan Congressional
Budget Office (CBO)
said Wednesday. |
7/9/09 |
1.
Yesterday's item, about "Fight the Smears" disappears, documented the
changes that have recently been made to Obama's high-profile Internet
site, "Fight the Smears," and also to the Internet Archive, also known
as the "WayBackMachine.com" -- Obama has removed his bogus Certification
of Live Birth from the Internet -- at the same time, the Internet
Archive just happened to "lose" its archived copy.
2. Just
Yesterday, Robert Farley, a staff writer from the St. Petersberg Times,
wrote an essay entitled, "Obama's birth certificate: Final chapter.
This time we mean it!" in which Farley regurgitates many of the usual
Obot arguments in defense of the Obamamessiah's bona fides and attacks
those that question them. In response to his tiresome screed, Ron
Polarik, emailed Farley the following: |
7/10/09 |
1. These are the new rules of engagement
for leathernecks in Afghanistan.
2. Obama's newly appointed "Green" Czar, was as an
admitted radical communist and black nationalist leader.
3. Breaking -- At 7
AM, Fox News reporter, Major Garrett, reported that Obama has banned the
foreign press from his press conference today in Italy. The
foreign press is furious.
4. Obama’s health care proposal
is, in effect, the repeal of the Medicare program as we know it.
The elderly will go from being the group with the most access to free
medical care to the one with the least access. Indeed, the
principal impact of the Obama health care program will be to reduce
sharply the medical services the elderly can use.
5. The federal government's
most secure prison has determined that two books written by Barack Obama contain material "potentially detrimental to national
security" and rejected an inmate's request to read them.
6. The Lid blog reports that over
the course of his tenure, Obama has not only shown a disdain for the War
Against Islamic Terrorists (also known as the War Against People Who
Create Man-Made Disasters), but Obama has shown a total disregard for
those who lost family members to acts of terror.
7. What
a difference a day makes. Just yesterday, I posted a
page (cursor down) from the Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children that featured a letter
from the White House affirming the hospital as Obama's birthplace (see next item). |
