CHARGE 67 -- "I am NOT
the most liberal Senator in the U.S. Senate."
EVIDENCE -- Senator Obama ranked as the number one Liberal in the Senate
based on his consistent voting record. SOURCE 1, SOURCE 2. SOURCE 3,

COUNTER CLAIM -- Senator Obama is just fighting for the people, what's
wrong with that?
REBUTTAL -- There is obviously nothing wrong with fighting for the
people, but making false statements for political expediency is not
fighting for the people, it's fighting for your own skin. Senator
Obama has a clear record of extremely liberal views and voting as such
to maintain or promote said views. From his stance on post-birth
abortion, to guns, gays, meeting, without precondition, sworn enemies of
the United States, and his admiration for his father's attributes, such
as 100% taxation and land redistribution regardless of ownership, most
Americans would find these views extremely liberal. Seeing as the
Senator's voting record reflects these choices, one must conclude he is
in fact a liberal. Additionally, The Senator assisted Senator
Bernie Sanders (I. Vermont), the U.S. Government's only elected member
of Congress identifying himself as a Socialist.1
One could hardly characterize such support as conservative or moderate,
let alone mainstream.
VERDICT -- SENATOR OBAMA, YOU ARE A LIAR

Obama's Deceptive Anti-Oil Ad: "I Don't Take $ From Oil Companies" |
I
saw the ad where Obama claimed he didn't take contributions from oil
companies and the claim struck a chord in my memory. I was under the
impression that oil companies could not legally donate to a campaign at
all. So, I did some checking and it seems that FactCheck.org did an
entire page on Obama's deceptive Pennsylvania ad. |
