-- Trunking Operation -- 1) The five (or ten - possibly 20) channels in the trunked system are entered into the first five (or ten, etc) channels in any one of the 'banks' in the PRO-2006 (or BC760XLT). 2) The Wireless Protocol Analyzer (WPA) is then setup with the channel numbers used for this trunking system. 3) The Frequency codes (assigned to each frequency used in the trunked system) are entered next to the channel number in the WPA. If the frequency or call group codes are not known there are some special modes in the WPA that can easily assist you in identifying them. With a little time and activity on the trunked system the freq codes are easily obtained. 4) Call group codes and their names (the names are user assignable) are then entered via the WPA front panel. Once the freq codes are obtained (above) call groups can easily be determined. With activity on a voice channel a button is pushed on the WPA the WPA determines the call group code.
