TAKE NOTICE that the appellant appeals against the judgment of the Trial
Division of the Federal Court of Canada delivered on the 1st day of August,
1996 (Court File No. T-567-96).
THE GROUNDS of the Appeal are that the learned judge:
(a) erred inlaw in concluding that the Security Intelligence Review Committee
was an adjudicative body;
(b) erred in law in the application of the standard of impartiality or
bias applicable to the SIRC in the discharge of its mandate under section
19(2) of the Citizenship Act;
(c) such further and other grounds as counsel may advise.
The appellant proposes that this appeal be heard at Ottawa in the province
of Ontario.
