Always eager for media exposure, Zündel would use this funny, teasing, light-hearted story of this “Antarctica Hitler Escape” as a “hook” to book himself on more than 175 stations to talk about what was closest to his heart - to rehabilitate the image of his politically demonized German people and, thus, clear up serious political and historical misunderstandings.

For instance, he would talk about the fascinating technological research commissioned in the Third Reich, involving such revolutionary transportation innovations as circular flying disk aircraft, a Nazi space station, light propulsion and such things as sound cannons, death rays etc.

In order to get his name and address as well as supplementary material into his readers’ hands, Zundel printed up a number of in-house, inexpensive books and booklets dealing with various facets of UFO research. A limited number of them have survived the Zundel-Haus arson, set by his enemies.
