Had Israel's supporters left Zundel alone, the vast majority of the world would have continued to think he was just another nut case, and yes, I am one of those who having been raised with the holocaust "religion" thought that Zundel was out of his mind.

But it is the extreme actions, clearly unconstitutional, indeed un-American, used to silence him that broke through the dogmatic blindness and raised the question of just what it was that Zundel's persecutors were so afraid of. Now as Zundel's case makes global headlines, other free minds are coming to the same conclusion; that the actions taken against Zundel to keep him silent indicate vested interests are afraid of what he has to say, and people the world over who had never even entertained the idea that the official story of WW2 is not 100% accurate are (especially with the wisdom born of the US lies about Iraq's WMDs) now starting to look a bit more closely at everything they have ever been taught.

And that cannot help but be a good thing.

People are probably correct that the German authorities do not want a visibly unfair trial. The thing to be wary of is that Zundel will be quietly released and then either 'suicided' ala Vincent Foster (major aid in Hilary Clinton's push for the Oslo Accords); 'heart-attacked' ala Jorgen Holst (Norwegian Prime Minister who provided the meeting center of Oslo); or 'accidented' ala John Kennedy, Jr. (published an article by the mother of the accused assassin of Yitzhak Rabin where she argued that the Zionist right-wing had pushed her son into Rabin's murder). These types of cases should be periodically recalled for people so that they aren't caught of guard if 'a regrettable tragedy' occurs after Zundel's release.

No matter whether or not one may agree or disagree with Mr. Zundel's views, this case is no different from the purported ones in the defunct U.S.S.R. that that beacon of freedom, the Reader's Digest, would write about and denounce so frequently until around 1990.

The newspaper article provides an unintentional peek into the motivating forces behind this abuse of the law and justice:

"He has long argued the Holocaust never occurred, and that Jews have used the "alleged" atrocities as a way to extort money from the German government."

This amounts to an accusation of dishonesty and fraud, and if it is true this fraud would dwarf the hugest grand larceny. That, I think, is the reason that the most powerful *financial* forces, beside the 'religious' ones, are so intent on shutting up all Holocaust researchers and 'revisionists'.

It is perfectly possible that the situation, not only for Mr. Zundel but for the free-thought, libertarian, and dissident communities, may improve upon his return to Germany. I hope it does, and I hope that you and your friends and supporters in the U.S. take courage and find equanimity, and that you all find a sense of renewed purpose.

I have been following the whole Zundelsaga for a while, and would like to tell you about a visit to Germany a few years back. My wife and I were sharing a compartment with four kids who had just finished school a few months before. Be started chatting to them and was absolutely horrified at their lack of knowledge, specifically as regards the Hitler Era. My limited German vocab often left me no choice but to try and ask questions in other languages, one of them being my home language, Afrikaans. It is similar to Flemish and Dutch, and many words correspond to the German equivalent. I asked one youngster if he had been in the Wermacht (Afrikaans version Weermag) and was told that that particular word is a no-no in Germany. Many other issues around the WWII was also not taught to them, and maybe Ernst will be a catalyst to have all the lies opened up and publically examined.

I have followed closely all developments leading to the unavoidable denouement of Ernst's deportation. As I mentioned to Ernst in one of my letters, it would have been unthinkable for the Jews to admit wrongdoing in his case. They would have stopped at nothing to make an example out of Ernst as a warning to others. Generosity or chivalry is the absolute least of their traits. (...)

There is simply too much money to be made directly and indirectly in the holohoax industry for these money-hungry and empire-crazed people to not have taken Ernst as a serious threat to their interests. The good news is that Ernst will not be held in prison for long in Germany for they have no such "security certificates" as in Canada and he will use the opportunity to reach millions of his countrymen and start many of them to re-examine historical facts and debunking myths.

He will receive far better treatment in a German prison as in either a Canadian or an American prison. I do feel for you, for the long separation from your husband and the terrible waste of such a talented man's time. The sacrifice that you both are making for an indifferent German people blissfully unaware of the depths they have descended into in their self-esteem, will make history and your names will be remembered for generations to come. I will re-start my correspondence with Ernst as soon as possible.

Ingrid: I am not sure how to approach it, but the international debate on the truth of events now called Holocaust must occur. There are too many holes in the story, too much racial and ideological energy being devoted to protecting the story. That tells me the "owners" either know or strongly suspect the story will not stand close examination. Such a debate, of course, would be opposed by all available means up to and including hand grenades. In law, Holocaust is a "shouting case" because cool argumentation won't support it.

I think your mood is right. The more this gets discussed the better, although a few people are paying for the right of passage.

I first discovered the Zundelsite approximately three years ago while researching the "Holocaust" for a high-school project. I began reading through the various documents and reports, and became fascinated with historical revisionism. As was mine, his life in in danger and I ask that you intercede with the German Officials. His crime is one of Thought....he does not believe in the traditional view of the Holocaust. The man is a Pacifist. His Human Rights are being violated as are others throughout the world. The Nazis still reign in Germany. Please protest the Gestapo action of the German Government.

With Judge Blais' decision, the Curtain of Fear has descended upon Canadians. The message our government has signaled by this deportation is that anybody who dares to hold a view not sanctioned by the powers that be will be vilified and imprisoned indefinitely. No political dissent is acceptable in this country.

I have been following the case for 2 years, our justicial heritage has been destroyed not just in Canada and the US but all over the western world.

It must be tough to be a hero, or a martyr, but now is the time that we need them.

I really hope and (somewhat) believe that the Holocaust espousers have shot themselves in the foot. Whilst Ernst is obviously guilty of "denying" the Holocaust and this falls foul of that law, this could be the occasion and he could be the hero that cause the German people to revisit the whole question. Whilst it seems a tragedy, Ernst could be the unlikely, unwilling and unfortunate catalyst that blows the whole "Holocaust" scam wide open. In the whole world, he is the person most qualified to take on and beat the liars and fraudsters.

My condolences on the deportation of your husband to the "Bundesrepublik" to be placed on trial by that despicable, contemptuous puppet regime. On the other hand, his trial may provide them a lot of publicity that they don't really want.

I was born well after 1945. I didn't experience any of those events firsthand. All I have to go by is photographic, audio and written evidence, and purported eyewitness testimony. If someone has an alternative explanation of the walking skeletons and the piles of emaciated corpses, I'm perfectly willing to hear it. Let all the evidence and all the viewpoints be presented, and if the traditional version of events is substantially correct then its advocates have nothing to fear from Ernst or anyone else in the Revisionist movement.

In my opinion, one of the strongest tests of the truthfulness of any position is that of motive. It's easy to see the motives of the Holocaust lobby: big money, popularity, books, movies, "museums," etc. But what do Revisionists get for their efforts? Ridicule, loss of livelihood, threats, beatings, arson, and now, in Ernst's case, deportation to a jurisdiction where truth is no defense and imprisonment a certainty. If one were to judge impartially the truth of the Holocaust based on the consequences of airing one's views, he would have no choice but to adopt the Revisionist position.

I am writing to register my complete and unmitigated disgust at the Crown's treatment of Ernst Zündel, the Holocaust revisionist who was deported back to your country against his will and held in deplorable conditions for two years for the crime of having a mind and using it. Evidently, I have been under the delusion that Canada, as a member of the Commonwealth, adhered to English common law, including Magna Carta, the Petition of Right and the Bill of Rights of 1689.

Apparently Canada has thrown away several hundred years of legal evolution and has now reverted to a totalitarian police state, replete with kangaroo courts dominated by star-chamber proceedings. (...)

My wife and I had considered visiting Canada a few weeks ago when we were near the border. I'm glad we didn't, not merely because of the apparent lack of rights in your country but because I have no interest in spending any of my tourist dollars in such a legal and constitutional cesspool.

I am appalled at the brutal and unwarranted treatment levied against Ernst Zundel, by the US, Canadian, and German authorities. Within these sovereign united states, no person may be constrained against free speech --even when it comes to questioning the "official" narrative of the Jewish Holocaust.

This should be true in Canada and within the German Republic. It is a natural, God given human right to speak freely on any issue. It is our individual right and duty as citizen and human being to pursue the truth, no matter where it takes us. This should be universally true.

Ernst Zundel is charged with being a so-called 'Holocaust Denier', but all he may have done, is what tens of thousands of free thinkers have done, is to demand a comprehensive review of this key historical event. The truth will emerge and vindicate only what is true. Everyday, new facts and research comes to light, which shows that the official Holocaust narrative may be flawed by inaccurate data, conflicting testimony and questionable physical evidence. The sum total of this research should invite responsible, scholarly and public inquiry, so that the full truth might be known.

I for one want the full truth and will settle for nothing less. The Holocaust narrative is, as should be any important historical narrative, not a closed book! It should always be open to free and public inquiry.

Those who say to question the Holocaust narrative is a crime are tyrants and afraid of the truth! They are worst than terrorists, because they wish to make us slaves. The more they try to intimidate, the curiouser people get and the harder we fight back. Ernst Zundel has committed no crime.

How little I knew Ernst. However after the last two years I have come to really admire him. He is a true hero. Now we will see what the socialists in Germany will do with a son of Germany. Will they keep up the lie forced upon Germany by the Allies to cover their own crimes?

Or, will they finally step up to the plate and swing away at the truth for a change? One must doubt that they have the courage to deal with the truth... Remember they are still keeping the camps as memorials..

I will be interested to see what happens to a publisher and scholar in the land of the dwarfs. I doubt they want a martyr. They are hoping that they can put him in prison and forget about him.

Never forget that the communists (read that socialists) have a huge vested interest in using german camps as a red herring to cover the crimes of the communist party in the past. As long as they can make Hitler the bad man, they can hide they crimes of Stalin and his conspirators in the party.

As repulsive as what is happening is, as regrettable as it is that Ernst still has to fight another fight in court and stay in jail, I am sure he is a sacrificial lamb and what he still does is putting out truth into the public. More people will know about reality in this way, especially in Germany that had to go through 're-education' brain-wash. We all simply have to fight on to help people open their ears so they learn to accept facts over mythological fiction.

To be in Germany for Ernst will be a relief: better treatment, a maximum of five years (while in Canada they could have held him without accusation for the rest of his life) and this legal process will be fire into the national German soul, a fire that will give needed warmth and needed disturbance into indoctrinated concepts.

For Canada this is a big ink stain on a clean sheet of paper, now known world-wide. (...)

Do you know that the first Holocaust Museum as a memory for 'Six Million Jews' was planned in 1942, when those alleged to have been gassed were still aliveŠ? Do you know that the first 'Six Million-claim' was uttered in 1919?
