What you can do to help trout!

Jason Mewhiney needs your help! There are many things you can do to help to publicize his case and the injustice he has been done by Canadian and American authorities. This page will tell you some of the things you can do to assist the free tr0ut cause.

Contact the media
Jason has had a lot of articles written about him, try to get the media to cover his ongoing case properly. Write to the media demanding that they get their facts right and that they look at Jason's case objectively. Demand to know what has been accomplished during the prosecution of Mr. Mewhiney, an investigation and trial that wasted more money than was supposedly lost by the defacement itself. Ask them to explain how a silly web-page defacement is enough justification to spend thousands of tax dollars flying countless FBI agents, NASA officials, and "Computer Consultants" from the United States to Canada every few months for nothing more than to attend each and every court appearance of Mr. Mewhiney. Did they really need to be flown up to Canada even for his two-hour sentencing?

Protest NASA

Speak out against the exaggerated claims made by NASA. Question them on how they came up with their so-called "damages". Write letters complaining about the way they have lied to see Jason put in prison. Ask them to explain the thousands of dollars that were spent by Canadian Taxpayers in order to fly out all of the Canadian authorities involved in the case to NASA headquarters for a "free tour".
