Echelon Designed and coordinated by NSA, the ECHELON system is used to intercept ordinary e-mail, fax, telex, and telephone communications carried over the world's telecommunications networks. Unlike many of the electronic spy systems developed during the Cold War, ECHELON is designed primarily for non-military targets: governments, organizations, businesses, and individuals in virtually every country ... every word of every message intercepted at each station gets automatically searched whether or not a specific telephone number or e-mail address is on the list. Project P415 Anglo-American plan for a global electronic spy system for the 21st century capable of listening in to most of us most of the time ... the surveillance system will enable the agencies to monitor and analyse civilian communications into the 21st century. Identified for the moment as Project P415, the system will be run by the US National Security Agency (NSA). The Europol Computer System It is a policeman's dream and a nightmare for civil rights activists. At present the computer is defined as an interim system but will soon provide the police agency with full analytical data not only on convicted criminals and suspects but also victims, potential victims, those with suspected criminal contacts and probably even witnesses. Data on health and race can also be stored. Eventually, TECS will be expanded to provide a more general data bank with a capacity to store information on about a million or more people. At first only Europol will be able to use the database. When the system expands, however, policemen from every country will be able to tap into the Europol data bank. A French policeman could thus discover private aspects of a German's life and behave more freely with that information than a German policeman. Human radiation experiments CIA conducted an agency-wide search for information about human radiation experiments that it may have conducted ... has since found records indicating that CIA officers did participate in DOD groups in which human radiation experiments, including those involving the placement of troops at atmospheric weapons tests, were discussed and planned. Microwave mind-control Research into biological and psychological effects of exposure to microwave radiation is voluminous. The current primary users of this research appear to be the CIA, DoD, the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Energy (DoE) ... externally-induced auditory input could be achieved by means of pulsed microwave audiograms, or analogs of spoken words' sounds ... Such a device has obvious applications in covert operations designed to drive a target crazy with 'voices' or deliver undetected instructions to a programmed assassin. HAARP The military has deliberately misled the public through sophisticated word games, deceit and outright disinformation ... US Air Force documents revealed that a system had been developed for manipulating and disrupting human mental processes through pulsed radio-frequency radiation (HAARP) over large geographical areas. The most telling material about this technology came from writings of Zbigniew Brzezinski (former National Security Adviser to US President Carter) and J. F. MacDonald (science adviser to US President Johnson and a Professor of Geophysics at UCLA), as they wrote about use of power-beaming transmitters for geophysical and environmental warfare. The documents showed how these effects might be caused, and the negative effects on human health and thinking.
