X-Calibre's Personal page
Hi, I'm X-Calibre.

I was born on November 29th, 1977 in Leiden, the Netherlands.
I've lived in The Hague ever since.

I got my first computer at the age of 4. It was a ZX81 (Remember that one?). My father made it himself.
After that machine, I got a Commodore 64 and I was hooked for life. This is the computer that brought joy to computing.
Then, my father bought a Commodore PC-10 III. It was an IBM compatible XT. That's the computer that took joy out of computing (and out of life, in some cases...).
I hated the thing from the start. The sound and graphics were so lame, and the allegedly fast 10 MHz processor was so sluggish, that I decided to take the fate in my own hands...
I bought an Amiga, and the fun returned.
I could never really get rid of IBM compatibles, though. The number of users is just too big.
I still use a Pentium 133 PC for Internet and college work.
I can't wait to see the new Amiga's though. Maybe they finally can cut me loose from the IBM crap.

But, at the age of 16, I discovered another cool phenomenon, namely the guitar.
I've been playing ever since, and I wouldn't know a reason why I should ever stop. As Eddie van Halen put it: "The bug bit me, big time!".
When I started writing music, I 'founded' Diamond Music.
It has evolved since then, and right now it's a small studio, able to produce reasonable master CD's.
I'm working hard on my first release, the Diamond Debut CD. If you can't wait 'till it comes out, then you can listen to my work in progress here.

In the mean time, I'm also a college student at the . I'm studying Information Technology.

At the TU Delft, I met Ewald Snel. He is a great Java coder. Together we are making our first Java demo. Watch out for our Java products!

More to come...
