  China Hacked!

China's human rights site has been hacked by members of LoU (Legions of Underground). Bronc Buster and Zyklon have taken credit for the hack poking fun at the sites weak security, China's horrid human-rights records as well as the human rights record o f the US in regards to the Kevin Mitnick mess.

Hewlett Packard and Wave Systems say they have found the amicable solution to the US export control policy. They have created a hardware encryption chip that resides on a systems motherboard, the chip is then registered with a local authority which sets t he encryption level with that allowable by local law. (Ed. Note. Sounds to me like gun control. This is not a solution.)

  FBI to use VPNs

The FBI is currently installing a Virtual Private Network that will run over the public Internet to link various police offices. This VPN will allow police to share criminal histories. The FBI has chosen software by Check Point Software Technologies. (Ed. Note. This is just scary. The Federal Gov is now trusting the totally insecure Internet with criminal data. Talk about a crackers wet dream. Damn.)
