The Cult of the Dead Cow has announced that it is severing its official
relationship with the Hong Kong Blondes. cDc claims that it has been
successful in its mission to turn the HKBs into a 'lean mean hacking
machine'. The HKBs will continue their fight against oppression and
tyranny and the cDc will continue to assist the internet in numerous ways.

Since attrition.org and sekurity.org seem to be down at the moment
Packetstorm Security has graciously offered to mirror the archives
detailing and debunking the adventures of Carolyn Meinel. This includes
new updates regarding her recent press conference. They are also accepting
new submissions. If anyone has anything to add please send mail to packetstrom@genocide2600.com

Yesterday we reported a lot of things that seem a little clearer today.
This is what we have been able to figure out.
The FBI did visit Dimensional Communications but where sent away because
they did not have a warrant. Disorder has been questioned but has not been
arrested. sekurity.org is currently down. Presumably all of this is in
relation to the Hacking for Girlies crack of the New York Times earlier
this year. The FBI claims that they have made no arrests in the case yet.
That's about it and even this may all just be rumors. If anyone has
anything to add let me know.

Tron (Boris Floriciz) was found dead hanging from a tree in a park in
Berlin. The question still is whether it was Murder or Suicide. The Chaos
Computer Club is planning on releasing a statement at their annual
Congress coming up next week. It is an old story but there is a little bit
of new information here and some interesting quotes.

Electrons? That's old school. Photons are where its at. Think of it, a
photon powered computer, 10 times as fast, no heat build up, half the
size, (Since you don't need bulky fans or power supplies) amazing. This
is truly a hack in the purest sense of the word.
