IntroductionThe University of Birmingham and
the Queen Elizabeth Hospital have interests in a wide range of neuroscience
disciplines and have made it one of their major strategic research initiatives.
We have close links with groups at the University
of Aston which share many of our interests in neuroscience. The neuroscience
consortium is dedicated to fulfil this aim, with a view to developing Birmingham
as a centre of excellence in neuroscience. The Medical School is now organised
itself into 6 Divisions, one of which is Neuroscience.
The new Division brings together most of the basic and clinical neuroscience
within the Medical School. The Consortium will continue to promote links
between neuroscience interests throughout the Universities of Birmingham
and Aston, and other neighbours. Finally, in order to view these pages in their entirety you will need
to use Netscape version 2 or higher.
